admission to a college program,
you must have graduated from high school with an overall grade point
average (GPA) of a C grade (2.0) or higher. Your admission to a specific
college program is based on a combination of your high school grade
point average and your completion of specific high school courses.

Years (Algebra I & II, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus,
Calculus)

World History, World Cultures, Civics)
- Laboratory
Science-3 to 4 Years (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Earth Science)
- Visual &
Performing Arts-1 to 2 Years (Art, Drama, Dance, Music)
- Challenging
Electives-1 to 3 Years (Economics, Psychology, Computer Science,
Statistics, Communication)

If you've graduated from high school, but don't meet minimum entrance
requirements |
If you've
graduated from high school with a satisfactory GPA
but don't meet minimum entrance requirements for the college degree,
you may be accepted with deficiencies provided you make
up the deficiencies by earning at least a C grade in each
of the appropriate developmental or university courses and complete
9 credits of general degree requirements with a C grade or higher
in each course.

If you are 18 years old or older and fail to meet admission requirements |
If you are
18 years old or older and fail to meet admissions requirements
you may be considered for unrestricted admission to a college
program on a case-by-case basis. You will need to provide
supporting evidence showing your academic ability, including,
at a minimum, test results from either the ACT or SAT tests.
Home-schooled students should follow this procedure when
seeking admission to a college program. Contact the Office
of Admissions of the college you would like to attend for
more information.
